I know there are a lot of people who heard the money is in the list. Now that is
true because the better the list the more money you can make. Now think about it for a second, how can I create a relationship with my list through emails? All you have to do is write the type of emails that are going to entertain your list as well as provide entice them to want to read your emails. The first thing you have to do is be genuine and honest. This means do not promote bad products to them to make a sale. It is not always how much you make because the longer they stay a good customer to you, the more money you can make. It starts off with providing excellent content on your particular niche and also by telling stories. This all helps to create a better relationship with potential customers.
Here is how the sequence of how your emails should go:
Week 1-2: An introduction to your email list and who you are. Then move into free content with helpful links to other sites as well as yours.
Week 3-4: Start doing story telling and go into soft sells of your promotions. Continue going back and forth with soft sells and free content.
Week 5-6: Start doing hard sells which is direct promotions and add bonuses. Start bumping up better free content and alert of new promotions coming up. Then continue hard selling them for problems that may have.
Now this is just how I do my email marketing campaigns and you can use this as reference. My email strategy came from the Affiliate Millionaire Product so I know it works. Now let me explain in detail what you should pay attention to when writing emails. Now the first thing is the headline then straight into the copy.
The headline examples:
Headline – I want to say thank you
Headline – Shocking Video A Must See!
Headline – Stop thief!!
Headline – Were going live, go, go, go
Headline – Secrets To My Success Revealed Here
Headline – Unanimous New Discovery Found
Headline – Help This Needs Your Attention!
Headline - Oh My Gosh The All In One Solution
The body: When writing the body you have to make sure the paragraphs are short. For example, there should only be 4 lines in a paragraph because you don’t want the information to be bunched up together, this makes the reader not want to read it. It should look clear and have different fonts that are suitable to the readers likes and your emphasis on importance.
Now there are 3 types of emails you can write, the first type if a story, the second type is updated information on whats happening in the niche and the third type is a promotion. Now I will break down each type of email and tell you exactly what they do.
Email Type 1 – The Story: Now story telling is a good way to have your customers buy into your promotions. Now this technique works best with passion markets. This reason is because with passion markets they are more likely to buy anything that will solve there problem. Be aware not to lose there trust because its bad for your business. So usually you tell them a story that is entertaining and usually has a soft sell into a promotion at the end. Just make sure the pricing is not too high because its better to start low and move into better quality stuff.
Email Type 2 – Free Quality Content: Give them some helpful information regarding there problem. Sometimes you can refer them back to your blog if it provides helpful info or you can write articles. You can also refer them to other blogs if they are helpful.
Email Type 3 – Promotion: When promoting all you have to do is refer them to a product through a story or direct. Usually I do direct promotions with bonuses. This helps make more sales and this very easy way to make money.
The great thing about this is that they can be used in any niche market. All you have to do is apply the same principal to whatever your market is. Now I quickly want to explain the two types of markets there are. This will help you understand whether its time for a promotion or another story email. By doing this properly you will increase the relationship with your niche.
The types of markets:
Solution Market: The solution market is where people are looking for a solution to a problem. It can be a short or long term problem. For example, “How do you make money online? or How do you pick up dates?” When you think of a solution market, think of an answer to the question.
Passion Market: Now passion markets are different from solution markets. Passion markets are looking for a solution to a problem but they have more of an emotional need. This means that they might spend money on just about any solution and means that you will make money for sure. When markets rely more on emotions then, they might quickly purchase without second opinions. Examples are golf swing, stop dog biting, cure anxiety pain and increase energy.
